Star Trek Prank Week (Reader vs Scotty x Chekov)

Your put your face closer to the paper as you wrote the love letter then set the pen down and smiled menacingly as you read it. You folded it and put it in the envelope then wrote Scotty's name on it. You placed it back down on your desk then went to bed, ready to put your plan into action the next day.

       The very next morning, you skipped into Engineering feeling chipper. You went over to Scotty and tapped him on the shoulder.

       Scotty turned in his seat then raised an eyebrow at you. "Well, ya seem very happy today." he said smiling. "Kirk give ya your candy allowance?"

       "Yes, but that's not what I'm happy about." you replied sitting down next to him. "I was in the rec room the other day when a good friend of ours came up to me and told me that they had a crush on you~!"

       "Oh?" Scotty asked grinning. "And just who might this person be, (y/n)?"

       "Can't tell you, BUT they did tell me to give this to you." you told him as you held out the envelope.

       Scotty took it then opened it and started reading it.

       "So? What's it say?" you asked grinning.

       "Well, this person seems to be very into me and uses some very figurative language." Scotty replied, smugly.

       "Yeah, I'll let my imagination fill in the blanks there." you muttered as you stood up. "Good luck figuring out who this person is!" you called over your shoulder as you left. You grinned and rubbed your hands together as you waited by a turbolift. The doors opened and your raised an eyebrow when you saw Chekov. "Hey, Pavel~!"

       Chekov took a step back when he saw you and slammed into a wall. "Stay back!"

       "Wow. You've clearly snapped." you said smirking.

       "You're not going to prank me?" he asked skeptically.

       You shook your head then stepped into the turbolift. "Not today anyway." you thought to yourself and you headed to the Bridge. The doors opened then you went over to your station which was next to Spock's. You sat down then whipped out your PADD--which was really Scotty's--and started writing a love letter to Chekov.

       Spock leaned over your shoulder and read what you had written so far then asked, "A love letter?"

       You cringed and held the PADD close to your chest then glared at Spock. "Keep your Vulcan nose out of it." you hissed.

       Spock raised an eyebrow then turned away.

       You quickly finished writing the letter then early the next morning you sent it to Chekov and returned Scotty's PADD to his quarters claiming that he had forgotten that he 'lent it' to you.

(The Next Morning)

       You picked at your lunch then looked up and saw Chekov running toward you. "Ants in your pants?" you asked curiously.

       "You know that saying--" Chekov started.

       "Originated in Russia." you cut him off in a bored tone.

       Chekov smiled dreamily as he sat down.

       "Did you sniff a hallucinogenic plant again?" you asked when you saw the look on his face.

       "Vhat?" he asked confused.

       "Never mind." you realized when you remembered that Chekov would have no memory about that night. "Why are you so happy?"

       "I hawe a secret admirer." Chekov replied with a gentle sigh.

       You mentally snickered. "That's nice. I heard Scotty has one too." you looked down at your food then back up at Chekov. "You don' think....Nah. Never mind." you said before you looked back down at your food.

       "Think...vhat?" Chekov inquired.

       "Nothing." you replied, trying not to laugh.

       "Tell me." he deadpanned.

       "Well, Scotty has a secret admirer and you have a secret admirer so I though about how funny it would be in you were each other's secret admirer, but that impossible!" you said with chuckled at the end.

       Chekov frowned then pulled out his PADD to see which PADD the message had come from. His eyebrows shot up to his forehead and his mouth fell open.

       "Pavel?" you asked in an innocent tone.

       "I hawe to go." Chekov replied before he ran out of the rec room.

       "Oh, I bet you do~." you said smirking. A few minutes after Chekov left you ran into Engineering then squealed when you saw Scotty.

       "Oh, damn. She either got into the Sour Patch Kids again or she's trying to rope me into a Doctor Who marathon!" Scotty threw the PADD he was holding onto the floor before he started climbing up a Jefferie's Tube.

       You ran over to him then grabbed his leg. "I found out who your secret admirer is!"

       Scotty hopped down then grabbed you by the shoulders. "Who?!"

       "They're in rec room four right now." you replied, smiling.

       Scotty grinned then ran out of Engineering.

       You snickered then crawled into the vents and headed to rec room four. When you got there you saw Chekov with a bouquet of flowers and waited for the fireworks.

       The doors opened then Scotty ran in. He stopped short when he saw Chekov. "Chekov?! You're me secret admirer?!" he asked shocked.

       Chekov stared at him wide-eyed then looked between him and the flowers. "Vhat?! No! (y/n) told me that she was my secret admirer!"

       "(y/n) told me that my secret admirer was waitin' for me here!" Scotty told him.

       They stared at each other for a few seconds then it clicked. "(Y/N)!!!!" they both yelled.

       You snickered quietly. "Happy Prank Week~!" you exclaimed when you meant to whisper it. You saw them glared at the vent and stalk toward you. "Uh-oh!" you turned and started scrambling away as they chased you.
