Star Trek Prank Week (Pavel Chekov x Reader)

You ran onto the Bridge excitedly then turned Pavel around in his chair till he faced you. "Pasha! Guess what today is?!" you asked with a big smile on your face as you leaned toward him and gripped the sides of his chair, ignoring the strange looks you were getting from your fellow crewmembers that were around you.

"Ehh, Saturday?" Pavel replied, unsure as to why you were so excited and blushing at how close you were to him.

"Well, duh, yeah, but it's the day where you get off your shift early! We can watch the new movie I found! And have popcorn, too!" you said jumping up and down with a squeal.

"Movie? Can I join? What are we watching?" Sulu asked perking up in his seat.

You turned and smirked at him deciding to tease him about the zombie prank. "Dawn of the Dead." you replied teasingly.

Sulu deadpanned then turned back to face his station.

You smiled triumphantly then turned back to Pavel. "Come on, Pasha! Your shift is over now!" You grabbed his hand then pulled him along behind you as you both ran to your quarters. You pushed him onto the couch in your sitting room then got popcorn and sat down next to him with a thump before you played the movie.

"I am not going to be able to sleep tonight, you realize." Pavel said shaking his head as he walked over to your door.

"Oh, come on, Pasha!" you replied as you ruffled his curls. "It wasn't that scary."

"Da, it vas!" he said earnestly, waving his hands for emphasis.

You chuckled and rolled your eyes at how cute he was. "You'll be fine, now get out before I kick you out." you told him playfully.

"Goodnight, (y/n)." he said smiling softly at you.

"Night." You watched him leave then cleaned up.

Pavel started walking to his quarters that were on the other side of the ship then stopped when he heard creaking. "Vat vas that?" he asked himself as he looked around. The lights suddenly started to flicker and panicked wishing he had his phaser. He started panting softly then turned forward and started walking again.

The lights suddenly shut off completely and Pavel let out a gasp. He held his breath then let out a sigh of relief when a few of the lights went back on, but let out a strangled scream when he saw a tall figure appear out of nowhere and ran back to your room.

Spock stepped into the light and watched Pavel run. "I wonder what is wrong with Ensign Chekov?" he asked no one as he cocked his head the side.

You jumped when you heard your door open then saw Pavel run toward you and hold you close.

"Pasha, what's wrong?" you asked worriedly.

Pavel pulled back and looked you in the eye. "No more scary mowies." he said seriously.

You nodded as you bit back a laugh. "You want to stay here tonight?" you asked, blushing faintly at the question and smiled slightly at him.

Pavel nodded sheepishly, blushing furiously.

You smiled sweetly and kissed his cheek then lead him toward your bedroom and thought, "Maybe bribing Scotty for the lights and telling Spock to stand in the hallway worked better than I thought. Just hope he won't find out that I put his name on the calendar."
